Lil’ Inker Designs: April Release – Day 2 (+GIVEAWAY!)

4 Apr

Hello and welcome to the second day of the April release for Lil’ Inker Designs!  We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous stamps and dies and they’re all available right now!  I love that Laura doesn’t make you wait to shop the new release so I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire April release!  That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything!  There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post!  Today I’m sharing two cards I created for this release!

My first card uses Grad Class, Silly Stitched Squares, and the Stitched Quatrefoil Cover-Up die along with the adorable bird from The Little Things.  I inked up the bird using different dye inks and then die cut him with the coordinating dies.  Next I die-cut the square and blended a little faded jeans distress oxides ink onto one corner.  I die-cut the cover-up die using navy cardstock and then adhered the square with foam mounting tape and a pretty twine bow to finish it up!

My second card uses the adorable Hootie Patootie!

To start I stamped the owl from Hootie Patootie and colored him with copic markers.  I die-cut him with the coordinating die and then added an action wobbler behind him.  I die-cut the Chevron Border die from three different cardstocks and then layered them together.  I stamped the sentiment from Hootie Patootie onto the dark navy cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.  I adhered the chevron border to the card and then added my little owl on the wobbler to the center.

You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop.  If you get lost you can find the full hop list below!  Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire April release!

Happy hopping!!
