Welcome back to Day 3 of the Mama Elephant Design Team blog hop! We are celebrating 8 years with a fantastic new holiday release along with our amazing friends!

Today I’m using stamps from Sincerely Yours and Toasty Friends along with older Mama Elephant dies to create my Christmas card! 🙂
To start I blended Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and Wilted Violet distress oxide inks onto a panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. I splattered the panel with water, shimmer spray, and white gouache to create a snowy sky. After it was dry I added the sentiment from Toasty Friends. Then I stamped the images from Toasty Friends and Sincerely Yours onto white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copic markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies!
Next I created my scene by die-cutting the On the Hills set from white cardstock and white glitter cardstock. I also die-cut the little pine trees and blended them with Cracked Pistachio distress oxide ink. Next I die-cut the Birch Trees from light grey cardstock. I swiped a versamark cube over the edges of the trees and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder to create some texture. I adhered my scene together and then finished by adding crystal glaze and glitter to the trees for a little extra sparkle! And that’s it! 🙂
