I shared this card using the April My Monthly Hero kit on my blog this weekend:

April My Monthly Hero Kit by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

And today, I’m sharing a card using the rest of that pretty stenciled panel with the April 2022 My Monthly Hero kit!

April My Monthly Hero Kit by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

I started by stamping the background stamp onto a panel of Peony cardstock with contour ink using my MISTI.  I left the stamp on the lid of my MISTI so that I’d be able to restamp and heat-emboss later.  Then I used the kit stencils to stencil the panel.  I used Bubble Gum, Raspberry Jam, and Navy ink for my panel.  I love gold, navy, and pink together!  I let the ink dry and then place the panel back inside my MISTI.  I inked the stamp with Embossing & Watermark ink and then heat-embossed it with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder.  I trimmed it down to an A2 panel and used the leftover sliver on my countdown card!

April My Monthly Hero Kit by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero Arts

I stamped the sentiment from the kit on Nautical cardstock and heat-embossed it with the same Gold Glitter Embossing Powder.  Then I die-cut the sentiment from gold glitter cardstock and the outline layer from Nautical cardstock.  I adhered the layers together and then added my sentiment with liquid glue to finish the card!

And I used one of the add-ons with the kit to create one more card!

I stamped the beautiful kit background stamp onto a panel of Sand cardstock with Contour ink and trimmed it down to an A2 panel. Then I stamped and colored the cats and hearts from the Mother and Father Animals set with copic markers before die-cutting them with the coordinating frame cuts.

I stamped a sentiment onto the background panel and then die-cut a heart from vellum.  I adhered the heart to the background panel and then added my colored images on top to finish the card!

And that’s it for me!  I just love this entire kit…there are so many fun ways to use these gorgeous florals!! Head over and pick up your April My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today before it sells out!

To celebrate the kit release Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win!  Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, April 10th!  You should have arrived from Ilina and Lydia is your next stop!

Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more Hero Arts inspiration!  Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!

Love all of these. Your floral gold-embossed card is a perfect combo of colors. I also like how you used it w/ the navy-only gold-embossed card to make that gorgeous card divided by a strip of gold. Finally, the critter card is adorable! I should have guessed that being the animal lover that you are, we’d see a card or two from that HA set! TFS!!!
