Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop (day 3) and a GIVEAWAY!

1 Mar

SpringCoffeeLoversBH-011-300x180Here’s a quick card I put together for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I’ve been having so much fun with the hop that I might just try for a card each day…we’ll see! 😉

spring coffee lovers blog hop www.allthesparkle.com

I love this little Lawn Fawn set and I thought it’d be fun to use it for an anniversary card!  My only regret is that I used a piece of patterned paper from one of the Simon Says Stamp card kits and I didn’t realize that it was “artistically” stained around the edges so when I trimmed it down I lopped off the blotches on the top part of the card.  I may go back over the edges with distress ink and a mini ink blender to try and even it out!

The Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is a blast!  I encourage you to join in the fun by creating coffee, tea, or cocoa-themed cards or just visiting some of the cards for amazing inspiration!  Again, many MANY thanks to Amy Tsuruta for putting this all together!

GIVEAWAY

I will be selecting one random commenter to win a $25 gift card to My Favorite Things!  I will be posting several times during the Hop…each post you comment on will give you a chance to win!  Also, subscribing to my blog via the button on your right will give you another chance (and if you’re already a subscriber, I’ll count that as an entry, too!)! :)

My first card for the hop can be found here and the second one is here!  Thanks for visiting!

*sigh* Polka dots. Is there anything sweeter than polka dots on a card??!! The red really stands out against the gray, and pops your sweet little images right out front! Darling card. Very, very sweet. Love it! : )
