Good morning! I’m back for Shaker Saturday! Today I’m showcasing my stamps and sequins from The Ton! We will start releasing sneak peeks of the newest release this Monday and I thought this would be a fun way to start the celebration a little early!
I just can’t get enough of this Round Diamonds stamp set! There are so many different ways that you can layer the stamps to get different colors and different effects! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!
Anyway, I started off by stamping the diamonds of various sizes in two layers with different shades of grey inks. Then I laid my acetate over top of the diamonds and stamped the top layer of some of the diamonds with Delicata Silver Shimmer pigment ink and the others with Mama Elephant pigment ink in Apple. I carefully heat set the pigment ink so it wouldn’t smear. Stamping the final layer on the acetate gives the diamonds a little bit of a 3D look when it’s raised above the bottom layer. I used the Stitched Rectangles die from Simon Says Stamp to form the frame for the shaker and added the Champagne Life Couture Sequin mix. I love the mix of grey, silver, and red! To finish the card I stamped the sentiment on vellum with the same Mama Elephant ink and heat-embossed it with clear powder. I trimmed down the vellum and adhered it to the front of the acetate.
