Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit: Choose Joy

14 Feb

Choose Joy March 2018 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Good morning!  The newest Simon Says Stamp Card Kit: Choose Joy is now available and it’s PACKED with a ton of fun stuff!  Today I want to share a card I created using one of the stamp sets in the kit.  That’s right…there are TWO sets in this month’s kit! 😉

You Bring Sunshine by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Simon Says Stamp

To start I arranged the plaid stamp on an angle on the lid of my MISTI and inked it with Simon Says Stamp Fog ink.  I shifted the cardstock a few inches over and stamped it again to create a repeating pattern across my card panel.  Next I stamped the cute rain boot bouquet with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I colored it with copic markers and then added a layer of clear glitter gloss with the included nuvo aqua splash brush.  I fussy cut the image and then added a few accents with a white gel pen.  I stamped the sentiment onto the pink cardstock included in the kit and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I trimmed the sentiment down to a fishtail flag and adhered it over the plaid pattern.  I popped up the rain boots with foam mounting tape and then finished the card with a few clear droplets!  This is such an adorable spring image and after a gloomy few days it definitely cheered up my craft room! 😉

I hope this gives you some ideas for the new Choose Joy kit!  Remember, you can subscribe to their no-obligation kits and receive them monthly for $29.99, or purchase them each month for $34.99 (while supplies last).  This month, in particular, the kit includes two 4×6 stamp sets that are basically worth the subscription cost of the kit alone…that’s not including the 8.5×11″ cardstocks, patterned paper, glitter brush, stickers, envelopes, mini ink cubes, and embellishments!  I have a feeling this gorgeous spring kit is going to sell out VERY quickly so if you’re interested I’d recommend heading over and picking up the Simon Says Stamp March 2018: Choose Joy kit as soon as possible! 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Really really like this card, the colours are subtle but so spring influenced, you’ve made those cute little wellies look so sweet. Thank you for sharing.
