As I looked back through my cards this year I was amused to find an overwhelming number of cards feature pink, ocean scenes, metallic elements, interactive elements, watercolors or alcohol inks, or any combination of those 6 characteristics! 😉 Some of my preferences may change slightly from year to year but those characteristics are definitely engrained in my design aesthetic! 😉 Perhaps in 2018 I should resolve to use more green and orange! 🙂
I also wanted to take some time to acknowledge all of my blog readers, social media followers, and personal cheerleaders! Your comments, likes, shares, and follows are really appreciated and you keep me inspired to keep creating! I am so grateful for your support and friendship and look forward to another wonderful year together!!

You’ve done so many fab cards, it’s hard to pick a fav, as I’m sure you noticed trying to narrow it down to these! I happen to love the anniversary Chibi card! and you recently did one with the SSS paws all up in the air that I especially liked!! (Still have that set on my wishlist. : ) Looking forward to seeing what fab goodies you come up with this year!
That purple-blue-gold Alcohol ink card from HA monthly kit is one of my favourites and I was thinking about it reading this post until I saw it 🙂 Great top 12 😉 All the best in 2018!
I don’t know how you manage to pick just twelve! The bear in the purple waterscape card is just magical. Wooooooow!
I like the rose card but the penguins are really cute too.
There are a lot of great ones. My favorites would be no rainy day, done adulting and best fishes. I wanted to keep listing though.
I love the cards where you blend the colors – such as the anniversary
card of the holiday card. The dark colors blend together to make
an interesting background. Have enjoyed this past year of
seeing your incredible designs and techniques. Looking forward
to 2018 and what it brings for us card makers. Happy New Year
I really love all the cards with the distress blended backgrounds, but I also loved the unicorn card! You do everything well!

Beautiful, as usual. I think my favorite ones are the embossed and colouring with alcohol inks ones. I need to get into this technique I love the look so much. A blessed 2018 to you, Jessica.

Your cards are so beautiful!! I love the polar bear with the purple sky card :). I tend to use blue in every card so maybe this year I will branch out and use more pink ;).
Jessica, I could not pick a favorite if I tried. It’s all inspiring to me and really gets my creative juices flowing! I would love to go thru your stash of cards, that must be a sight, all of your hard work put together. Sometimes I go thru mine and I can tell what kind of mood I was in that day, or wonder what I was thinking when I came up with a design that doesn’t make much sense! Oh the struggle is real sometimes!😉

Beautiful assortment of cards to wrap up the year! The one with all of the penguins is my favorite… I just love the colors, and all the penguins just make me smile! Awesome masking too!

The magical birthday with alcohol inks is my favorite but I love them all!!
I enjoy seeing all of your card designs throughout the year. One of my favorite is the one with the Mermaid Tale. My other favorite was the Safari from the June Hero Arts release.
I love all of your faves for 2017. Your talents with the alcohol inks really inspires me to give it a try! I have to say tho, that your last card, The Hero Arts challenge with the black sea and gold fishes and seahorses takes my breath away. The blue seaweed was a striking addition as well. LOVE IT! I love all your cards and love learning new techniques from you. I think my favorite is coloring embossed images with alcohol inks. Still working on my technique but it’s so fun!
