Good morning! Jess here with a card using some new products from the 2017 Hero Arts Catalog! All of the products will be available to purchase at the Hero Arts store on February 14th and maybe you’ll add these stamp sets to your Valentine’s Day wishlist! 😉
I adore the new Color Layering Fuchsia floral set! I started my card by loosely watercoloring seedless preserves distress ink onto a piece of watercolor paper. After it dried I stamped the fuchsia stem with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. Next I stamped the first layer with mulled wine hybrid ink before stamping the second layer with unicorn white pigment ink. I sped up the drying process with my heat gun and then used my anti-static powder tool all over the stamped flowers. Finally I stamped the top layer with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. The unicorn white pigment ink lightens the hybrid ink just enough to show as two different shades.
I trimmed the watercolor panel down to 4″x5.5″ and mounted it on a black card base. Then I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Messages onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I trimmed it down to a label shape and adhered it to the watercolor panel with foam mounting tape. To finish the card I added a sprinkling of metallic gold sequins.
I love this stamp set…you’ll definitely be seeing more of it from me very soon! 😉 Have a great rest of your weekend and thanks for visiting!!
