A Blog Named Hero: Challenge – Copy a Designer

20 Nov

Busy day on the blog!  For the Lawn Fawnatics challenge click here and for the Altenew Markers Release Blog Hop click here!

Good morning!  It’s time for the second half of the A Blog Named Hero design team to share additional inspiration for our November challenge!  This month we’re CASEing creations from our DT with our collaboration company, Neat and Tangled!  I CASEd this card from Melissa:

And here’s what I created:

I was really drawn to her CAS design and use of white space.  I did a loose copy of her layout using a color-layering set from Hero Arts and a sentiment from Neat and Tangled!  I started by stamping the Color Layering Fox using Soft Granite, Charcoal, and Intense Black ink from Hero Arts.  Then I stamped the sentiment from Neat and Tangled and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder.  I trimmed the panel down and matted it on two white cardstock bases.

I can’t wait to see what you’ll create for our Copy a Designer challenge!  Remember that you can check out our Instagram feed for designer inspiration! 😉 Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day! 🙂

Interested in the products I used?  To make them easy for you to find, I have listed them below. (Affiliate disclosure can be found here). Your purchases help keep my blog running and I thank you for the support!
