Good afternoon! We’re on day 3 of a huge snowstorm and for the first time this entire overly-warm winter it felt like I should be creating Christmas cards! I was definitely in a holiday mood yesterday!
Anyway, we have a fun color challenge at Christmas Card Challenges this week and here’s what I came up with!
I used that fun sentiment to create a garland for those pretty Hero Arts Christmas Crystal stamps! I stamped the sentiment and heat-embossed it with silver tinsel embossing glitter. Then I stamped the crystals and embossed them with silver embossing powder. Next I used a variety of watercolors and smooshed distress inks to color the crystals. I added a layer of wink of stella glitter to each crystal and then coated them with glossy accents. It didn’t photograph well but the sparkle and shine of the glitter and glossy accents is really pretty and creates a cool effect!
