Hello and good morning!! I’m super excited to share that there’s a new Simon Says Stamp release, Celebrate You, and it’s available RIGHT NOW!! The release is filled with tons of gorgeous products! Here’s a quick look at all the new release:

I’ll have more to share this week but today I’m kicking it off with two very different cards!
First up is my card using the fun watercolor prints from Suzy Plantamura! I’m REALLY loving the designs she’s come out with recently and colored this up for a Father’s Day card for my sailboat-loving dad! 🙂 I used copics to color the card and added accents with a white gel pen, a little chunky and prisma glitter, and crystal glaze! I’m still not comfortable just using blending to create ombre skies so I like using a pointillism style of coloring to create interesting textures! I do lay down a base layer of color and then go over it with small dots of copic markers! Once I was finished I adhered the panel to a white card base and then stamped Happy Father’s Day from the older Mom and Dad Icons set inside to finish the card!
Next up was a card featuring the beautiful Daisy Bouquet set! I started by blending the new Hero Arts Reactive Inks onto a panel of white cardstock. I used Lemon Drop, Creamsicle, and Fruit Punch to create a bright and cheery background. I splattered it with water and iridescent spray to lighten a few areas and add a little sparkle.
Once it was totally dry I stamped the Daisy Bouquet arrangement with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I mixed a tiny bit of white gouache with Ink on 3 Pixie Dust which is a super sparkly medium that can be mixed with paints and painted the flowers. It just gives a little interest to the flowers and adds a ton of sparkly goodness! I die-cut the I Love You sentiment with black and white cardstock and adhered it to the panel. I adhered that panel to a white card base and finished the card with a few sparkly gems!

I’m a flower girl. So my favorite is both of the daisies. They are special in that they were one of my flower choices for my wedding many moons ago.

Love the idea of mixing white ink with the Pixie Dust, and then ‘painting’ the flowers. The white looks fabulous over the mix of ink colors from Hero Arts. Love Love Love!

Love the pointillism background, need to give this a try and your daisies just pop on the inky background! My fave items are the Gerbera Daisy Background stamp and the two Birthday sentiment sets, Stop Drop Party and Big Birthday Greetings. They have some fun sentiments!
